Matthew 5:22. Consequence of Anger. 6 Jan 2023

Mat 5:22 But I say this to you, anyone who is angry with a brother will answer for it before the court; anyone who calls a brother "Fool" will answer for it before the Sanhedrin; and anyone who calls him "Traitor" will answer for it in hell fire.

Court, Sanhedrin and Hell. That is where you will end up with keeping anger with a brother or sister.

In my opinion, Jesus is clarifying that we need to deal with our bad feelings about others. They lead us to places where I would not like to be. It has consequences to foster bad thoughts about others.

Prayer

Jesus, teach me to deal with my negative emotions.

Self Evaluation

I am still not taking my unfriendly thoughts on others serious enough. I suffer from the consequences.
