Matthew 6:7-8. When you pray. 23 Jan 2023

Mat 6:7 In your prayers do not babble as the gentiles do, for they think that by using many words they will make themselves heard. 8 Do not be like them; your Father knows what you need before you ask him.

I can do business with my heavenly Father. I can speak freely and clearly with Him. He already knows me. And He does not like me to come with baby talk or nonsense.
I can tell Him about my struggle, about my hardships and needs. And not to forget, He likes to be honored for who He is. He likes to be treated as real and not as a fake or powerless God. He is a mighty god.

Prayer

Jesus, teach me how to pray. Teach me prayer with respect.
