PSALM 133 - Everlasting 14 Mar 2020

Psalm 133 connects everlasting life to community, where all together live as brothers. In the middle is the priesthood of Aaron.

Community is presented as a blessing. I like to receive the blessing. The oil runs down from the head of the High Priest. It runs onto the collar of his robe. Perhaps the priest is being anointed. To build Community?

Psalm 133

1 [Song of Ascents]
How good, how delightful it is
to live as brothers all together!
2 It is like a fine oil on the head,
running down the beard,
running down Aaron's beard,
onto the collar of his robes.
3 It is like the dew of Hermon
falling on the heights of Zion;
for there Yahweh bestows his blessing,
everlasting life.
