Zec 10:1 Ask Yahweh for rain in autumn
and at the time of the spring rains.
Yahweh is the one to make the storm-clouds.
He will give them showers of rain;
to each, grass in his field.

The God who hears the prayer is called 'Yahweh'. Not the lord of Hosts? Actually the change of the name began in chapter 9. A proclamation had started.

Should The Prophet Pray?

I believe we all should ask God to give what we need. I would ask for a safe and healthy place for the coming years. I would ask for a place where his flock can grow.

Prayer

Jesus, I ask you for places where your flock can grow and mature in a god-fearing life.
