Zechariah 8:18-19. Happy Fast. 7 February 2025

Zec 8:18 The word of Yahweh Sabaoth was addressed to me as follows:
19 'Yahweh Sabaoth says this,
"The fast of the fourth month,
the fast of the fifth,
the fast of the seventh
and the fast of the tenth
are to become glad, joyful, happy festivals for the House of Judah.
So love truth and peace!" '

Fasting In Varieties

God requests a variety of fasting. Some months have a different style of fasting. In the "happy" months' of fasting, we should love truth and peace.

What Makes The Fasting Happy?

Just some thoughts:
+ Sharing with others
+ Being in control over my habits
+ Admitting some truth that was hidden or neglected
+ Forgiving a fault or shortcoming.

Prayer

Jesus, guide me into glad and joyful fasting. I desire to learn.
