Zechariah 9:9-10. King On A Colt. 14 February 2025

Zec 9:9 Rejoice heart and soul, daughter of Zion!
Shout for joy, daughter of Jerusalem!
Look, your king is approaching,
he is vindicated and victorious,
humble and riding on a donkey,
on a colt, the foal of a donkey.
10 He will banish chariots from Ephraim
and horses from Jerusalem;
the bow of war will be banished.
He will proclaim peace to the nations,
his empire will stretch from sea to sea,
from the River to the limits of the earth.

Prophecy Applied To Jesus

Here we find one of the Old Testament prophecies which is applied to Jesus Christ.

End Of Wars

The verses pronounce peace and an end to wars. That might be fulfilled with Jesus' 2nd coming.

Jesus, I pray for peace in Jerusalem and the surrounding countries.
