1 Corinthians 1:7-9 Can Rely. 27 Feb 2024

1Co 1:7 And so you are not lacking in any gift
as you wait for our Lord Jesus Christ to be revealed;
8 he will continue to give you strength till the very end,
so that you will be irreproachable on the Day of our Lord Jesus Christ.
9 You can rely on God,
who has called you to be partners with his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.

There are many themes in this quotation. Saint Paul Speaks about:
- Gifts (in the Spirit?)
- Waiting for the Lord Jesus
- His support till the end
- The Day of our Lord Jesus
- Relying on God
- The call to be partners with God

Invitation

Please spent a couple of minutes on meditating each of those themes.
It concludes with the partnership with Christ. And that casts a big responsibility on you and me to be bridge builders.

Jesus, guide us into a rock-solid faith in what Saint Paul invites us into.
