Matthew 6:31-32. Do not say ... 6 Feb 2023

Mat 6:31 So do not worry; do not say, "What are we to eat? What are we to drink? What are we to wear?" 32 It is the gentiles who set their hearts on all these things. Your heavenly Father knows you need them all.

Do not say ... And then certainly do not pray ... "What ..."
But what then? What should I say to God? First, my heart should not be set on eating, drinking and wearing nice clothes. The unbelievers may set their hearts on those things. And yes, God knows I need some of those things. I should live with the trust that God, my heavenly Father, provides what I need. Tomorrow Jesus faces the issue on what I should set my heart.

Prayer

Father God, teach me how to honor you. Please make it clear to me when I bother you with silly requests.
