Matthew 8:5-7. Again: Willing. 21 Feb 2023

Mat 8:5 When he went into Capernaum a centurion came up and pleaded with him.
6 'Sir,' he said, 'my servant is lying at home paralyzed and in great pain.'
7 Jesus said to him, 'I will come myself and cure him.'

Did the centurion make any request? I am sure he had a wish. Jesus is willing to heal ... before any request was made.

Our world has plenty of needs. I am wondering why the 'willing' Jesus does not heal all the needs of the world.
Perhaps he heals way more than I realize.
I remember, without faith, no-one can please God.
And yes, as we will see tomorrow the centurion had faith for the healing of his servant. He believed Jesus could do it.

Prayer

Jesus, guide me on the path of authority: having faith.

Self Evaluation

It seams that I lack both faith and authority for healing. I however do not conclude that I am 'bad'.
