How would I make things hard, not gentle? When I walk my own ways. Or the ways I have been pressured to go by parents and influencers.
Jesus, the son of God, comes to me with a more gentle proposal.

Matt 11:28+30

'Come to me,
all you who labour and are overburdened,
and I will give you rest.
Shoulder my yoke and learn from me,
for I am gentle and humble in heart,
and you will find rest for your souls.
Yes, my yoke is easy and my burden light.'

Jesus' Way

1. Come to me. He calls those who labour and work hard. He does not call the lazy ones. They do not need rest.
2. Shoulder my yoke. Then He can lead me and I can learn from him how to find rest.
3. His yoke is light and his burden is light. See how my world is working in slavery of wealth. Jesus has a different way.

How can Jesus lead me? I need his yoke. How can I find it? He invites and calls. I need to desire and seek. I need to beg Him to reveal himself and to connect me to others who are willing and ready to be a disciple of Him.

Prayer

Jesus, I am willing to take your yoke. What shall I do? Please instruct me. I believe and I thank you.
