Sugar makes foods sweet

There are sweet tooth's, and such a person really likes sweetened foods.

The word sweet is also used in expressions that hardly relate to sugar. E.g. in: Millet is my sweetheart

Some sugar.

What substance makes a person sweet?

When it speaks about character, perhaps humility. A humble person is true to himself. He or she knows who he or she is. He or she can speak positive about other people.

The matter that shows a person as humble and sweet, is that he or she can love or care for others.
