For starting something new, I need to end some previous activity. Even when that would be doing just nothing.
Thus when Jesus would inspire me to something new, I need to give up some other activity.

The beauty of baby Jesus is that I only need to welcome Him with joy. Why would Jesus bring me joy? In Him there is hope for new life. For he will grow. And if I welcome Him, then He will be my redeemer.

Jesus, I put my hope in you. I welcome you.
