Matthew 4:8-10. Third Test 10 Dec 2022

Mat 4:8 Next, taking him to a very high mountain, the devil showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their splendor. 9 And he said to him, 'I will give you all these, if you fall at my feet and do me homage.' 10 Then Jesus replied, 'Away with you, Satan! For scripture says: The Lord your God is the one to whom you must do homage, him alone you must serve.'

How many kingdoms are there on this world? Many. And sometimes very nearby. For whose honor am I working? It is God whom I should honor and serve.

Prayer

Father God, teach me to be a servant.
