Matthew 5:13. Salt for the Earth 30 Dec 2022

Mat 5:13 You are salt for the earth. But if salt loses its taste, what can make it salty again? It is good for nothing, and can only be thrown out to be trampled under people's feet.

A little bit of salt can make food tasty. Actually, salt can hardly loose its flavor.
When the salt is however not used, it is purposeless. I am called to use my talents. I am called to answer to the purpose God has destined for me. I am called to be courageous.

Salt has one problem, you can use it only once. And by times we need new salt.

Prayer

Jesus, guide me further into my purpose. I ask for more salt.

Self Evaluation

I ask God for fresh guidance and for the means (gifts) which I need for the journey.
