Matthew 5:5. Those who Mourn 23 Dec 2022

Mat 5:5 Blessed are those who mourn: they shall be comforted.

What would I mourn about? First, it speaks about that I should not be indifferent. I can't overcome poverty, sickness, death and other misery for many.

It is however horrible when I turn away my face as if nothing is happening. To mourn is to sit and stand with those who suffer. It is not about self pity. It is about finding value in myself and others before I and those others are perfect.

Prayer

Jesus, teach me to be with the needy.
