Mat 5:4 Blessed are the gentle: they shall have the earth as inheritance.

Yes, or no? They shall have the earth as inheritance and not heaven?
By times I am kind and gentle. And unfortunately ... still a few things may go wrong. I do not get things done, which urgently need to be done. My gentleness - in itself good - does not get 'my' work done. To make it worse, I quietly blame others for my ineffectiveness. I use my 'gentleness' as excuse. And YES, I just inherit earth, and not heaven.

Prayer

Jesus, guide me in balancing gentleness with effectiveness. Help me not to 'excuse' myself.
