Matthew 4:14-17. Galilee. Repent! 13 Dec 2022

Mat 4:14 This was to fulfill what was spoken by the prophet Isaiah: 15 Land of Zebulun! Land of Naphtali! Way of the sea beyond Jordan. Galilee of the nations! 16 The people that lived in darkness have seen a great light; on those who lived in a country of shadow dark as death a light has dawned. 17 From then onwards Jesus began his proclamation with the message,
'Repent, for the kingdom of Heaven is close at hand.'

Yes, that is the same message which John the Baptist spoke in Mat 3:2.
It is a proclamation. Perhaps the Kingdom of God is supposed to be in each of us. When I do not repent, I can't find this kingdom inside me.

Prayer

Father God, teach me how to repent and disclose Your Kingdom.

I have to give up some of my 'rights' to make place for the Kingdom of God.
