Mat 5:3 How blessed are the poor in spirit: the kingdom of Heaven is theirs.

Apart from what Jesus speaks to the devil, the theme is again the kingdom of Heaven. It is near for the poor in spirit. The kingdom of Heaven is already theirs. Perhaps for those who can accept it with a childlike attitude.

Prayer

Jesus, I ask you to speak more on the meaning of 'poor in spirit.'

Unfortunately, I find myself frequently making things complicated. And perhaps using that as an excuse for inactivity.
