Matthew 4:12-13. John Arrested 12 Dec 2022

Mat 4:12 Hearing that John had been arrested he withdrew to Galilee, 13 and leaving Nazara he went and settled in Capernaum, beside the lake, on the borders of Zebulun and Naphtali.

Was Jesus afraid? Did He not care for John? There is not always the logic I expect in the gospel. Still the message of the end of John's ministry drove Jesus to Capernaum.

Prayer

Father God, I pray for those captured for speaking inconvenient truth.
