1 Corinthians 15:24-26 World's End 15 August 2024

1Co 15:24 After that will come the end,
when he will hand over the kingdom to God the Father,
having abolished every principality,
every ruling force and power.
25 For he is to be king
until he has made his enemies his footstool,
26 and the last of the enemies to be done away with is death,
for he has put all things under his feet.

God likes good things. So do I. It is however hard. I fail frequently. Some observations about my shortcomings:
a) Often they benefit or protect me in some ways.
b) I do not hate my faults. They as well characterize my life.
c) Some shortcomings damage me. Those must be sins.

His Enemies

Death is the last enemy to deal with. Jesus will not just undo my death caused by sins. He will destroy anything that looks like a sin. I shall be blessed.

Prayer

Jesus, be my redeemer.
