1 Corinthians 15:15-17 No Resurrection: No Forgiveness 11 August 2024

1Co 15:15 What is more,
we have proved to be false witnesses to God,
for testifying against God
that he raised Christ to life when he did not raise him
-- if it is true that the dead are not raised.
16 For, if the dead are not raised, neither is Christ;
17 and if Christ has not been raised,
your faith is pointless and you have not,
after all,
been released from your sins.

Death is caused by sin. When there is no forgiveness of sins, there is no new life.

Christ

Christ died for my sins. He took my place. And I received new life.
Now if Christ is dead, how will I be forgiven?

Prayer

Jesus, please forgive me day by day. Raise me up day by day. I need you.
