1Co 14:35 If there is anything they want to know,
they should ask their husbands at home:
it is shameful for a woman to speak in the assembly.

It is not easy to understand why Saint Paul denies women the right to speak in the assembly.

A Period

I prefer to read a period after this sentence. The start of a new paragraph. Otherwise, the next two verses do make sense to me at all. Those verses speak to all.

Jesus, grant me a proper understanding of women 's place in the assembly.
