Matt 23:23-32

Jesus was questioned by the chief priests and the elders.
The ones asking, were hypocrites. They did not want to choose themselves for the love of God. They were afraid for people.

The Will of the Father

The tax collectors and prostitutes repented at the hearing of John's preaching. They could choose among bad and good.

The love for God

If I want to love Jesus then I need to DO the will of the Father. If I want to love God, I need to dislike my sin. Because that is what separates me from God.
