Aretha Franklin passed away

Yesterday the queen of soul Aretha Franklin died at the age of 76 years. She had made an impact on the lives of many people. This morning on the TV news I heard a woman saying: She has made me very happy with her songs.

I thank God for her life and pray that God may have mercy on her soul.

King of my soul

In my heart I too hear a song. The song is sung by the King of my soul:

For you have chosen: "I will be Thine."
To you I say: Your soul shall be Mine.
I'll fill your heart with peace and love,
So that all may know the gift from above.

My response:

I desire to serve Jesus, 24/7.
I like to live in heaven.

He knows my humanity.
