Having too many obligations does not feel good. Usually we have obligations for things we choose ourselves. However we may also have obligations to pay taxes. The 'thefreedictionary' says OBILGATION: "A social, legal, or moral requirement, such as a duty, contract, or promise, that compels one to follow or avoid a particular course of action"
Today my interest goes to the question:

Do we have moral obligations?

Matt 22:15 says in the NIV bible: "So give back to Caesar what is Caesar's, and to God what is God's."

Some things are due to the emperor and some things are due to God.

If I do not pay tax, my family may suffer from the consequences. So when I respect my family, tax paying is a moral obligation for me.

Moral obligations to God

I would hope so much:
When the love of God falls on you, that you may desire wholeheartedly to answer the call to love.

If you do not, you hurt yourselves and others. For me moral obligation is: "Do what is better for all and enjoy the consequences."

It should set free and not be a burden.
