1Co 7:5 You must not deprive each other,
except by mutual consent for a limited time,
to leave yourselves free for prayer,
and to come together again afterwards;
otherwise Satan may take advantage of any lack of self-control
to put you to the test.
6 I am telling you this as a concession,
not an order.

Saint Paul does not like to give Satan opportunity.

Mutual Service

The marriage partners are instructed to be aware of one another's needs. Saint Paul says that he does not 'command', he permits a concession. It sounds a bit like second class, not preferred. I am however sure that Saint Paul cares for both the things of god and the human needs.

Prayer

Jesus, guide me in caring for the needs of my wife.
