Today our king Willem-Alexander celebrates his birthday. Would he be jubilant? I hope so. I wish him a happy and joyful birthday.
Personally I would feel more jubilant with celebrating a success than with celebrating a birthday. Once I flew in a small plane from Switzerland to the Netherlands. I had participated with a TV (design) test trip in various countries. I had been one of the electronics designers and our design had performed flawless. I was served a glass of champagne. My mind was in the clouds. I felt like a king. I was jubilant.

Prayer

Jesus, teach me to enjoy life and to run that race, so that I may end up jubilant. Teach me to celebrate my victories and teach me to rejoice in worship.
